The development of high-quality fuels is crucial to enhance the efficiency and safety of nuclear reactors. In particular, for high-temperature gas-cooled reactors, an innovative fuel design incorporating a silicon carbide matrix with high thermal conductivity and oxidation resistance holds great potential, making it highly advantageous for enhancing reactor performance and safety.

I am deeply honored to receive the Akiyama Medal at the international conference. I would like to express my utmost gratitude to my professors for their guidance and support throughout this journey.
