【Awards and Commendations】Yuki Mori, Sakai Labo, (D3), received “Symposium Award” at SCEJ 52nd Autumn Meeting.

Yuki Mori, Sakai Labo, (D3), received “Symposium Award” at SCEJ 52nd Autumn Meeting.

〈Name of award and short explanation about the award〉

Symposium Award

〈About awarded research〉

Understanding the behavior of the die filling process is an important issue in chemical engineering. In this study, we applied a non-spherical particle model to FELMI, a solid-gas multiphase numerical simulation method that can be used for moving walls and complex-shaped walls, to investigate the effect of particle non-sphericity on the die filling rate when the effect of air is taken into account in the die filling system.

〈Your impression & future plan〉

It is my great honor to win this award. I really thank Prof. Mikio Sakai for his excellent supervision, and I also thank all members of my laboratory. I will keep researching hard and try to improve our research.
